Isager – Spinni
You are looking for a fine weight yarn, yet something warm? Isager’s Spinni might well be what you need.
Indeed, this lace weight yarn is very light, but also quite warm as it is made of 100% wool. Knitted on its own, it will give you fine and delicate accessories, or aerial clothing items, perfect for those fresh days at the end of spring or beginning of fall. For example, if you knit it with 3mm needles, you will obtain an airy fabric without it being too loose thanks to its tendency to fluff up once washed.
But it will also be a good choice if you want to double it, or to pair it with another similar yarn, to play on colours maybe? It would then be easy to obtain heathered colours, or a subtle fade effect… Or why not combine it with a cuddly mohair yarn! In fact, Isager offers a silk and mohair one with the same colour palette…
And while we are talking about colours… Have you seen the beautiful shades of Spinni? From the natural to the more vibrant ones, there is something for everyone. Whether you are more attracted by the neutrality of a beautiful grey, or the softness of a delicate pink, or the warmness of a sunny yellow, you definitely have the choice!
Note: about colours, all the references ending with “s” are dyed on a base containing grey, so slightly heathered. The references without “s” are dyed on a natural base, so you obtain solid colours.

Isager’s Spinni is thus one of those versatile yarn that can be used for all kind of projects!
