Tiara is an asymetrical shawl, in a triangular and slightly rounded form. Its originality lies in its edging. Braided with several strips of knitted yarn, it is attached to the body of the shawl as you go. This is by the way where the shawl takes its name. Actually, the edging and its shape brings to mind the chiselled details of a silver tiara.
Knitted with slightly bigger needles than necessary, the garter stitch body is so cuddly you will love to wrap yourself in it. If you choose a light and airy yarn, you will make yourself a real soft cloud! Plus, the large openings in the edging are perfect to keep it in place. This way, it becomes really easy to wear. With this basic yet original design, you can knit several versions of it, changing its colour or the yarn you use, and create one for each day of the week. Actually, its Ravelry page is a real source of inspiration!
