CaMaRose – Stjernestov
Glitter, glitter, glitter everywhere! If you want to add a bit of a spark to your projects (without finding the stuff on everything else), why not try this beautiful CaMaRose Stjernestov yarn ? Indeed, in Danish Stjernestov means “star dust”. An aptly named yarn if there ever was one! If you usually think that the glittery yarns lack a bit of sparkle, you must try this one, as it has been developped around a glittery core. Just like for the Snefnug yarn, a yummy blend of baby alpaca and merino fibers have been blown inside a mesh tube, to create a yarn that is wonderfully light and pleasant to knit and wear. And it is this tube that gives it its sparkly effect. In fact, this yarn is a divine halo of fiber softness around a glittery strand! Note: just like the Snefnug, this yarn has been made in a family-owned Italian spinning mill. It has also been designed with regards for the environment and the animal well-being (the merino comes from mulesing-free farms).

If, like us, you have a crush on those trendy nordic sweaters, made of soft fluffy yarn on big needles, CaMaRose’s Stjernestov is a good yarn choice for this kind of projects. You know, sweaters like those designed by Pernille Larsen (Ravelry), Petite Knit or My Favourite Things (Ravelry)? You can use this yarn for an entire piece, or to make stripes or even colorwork (combining it with the Snefnug ?), it is up to you to chose your level of glittering! It will also make beautiful accessories (hats, cowls, scarves…) that will bring a touch of originality in your wardrobe. A way to give a festive flair to your everyday life!
