[Fitted beanie – Slouch hat]
For an adult head size (approx. 59 cm/23’’)
22 sts and 30 rows=10cm/4’’
in twisted ribs 1/1 slightly stretched, with smaller needles, in the round.
19 sts and 42 rows=10cm/4’’
in honeycomb stitch, with larger needles, in the round.
Yarn & Notions:
- 1 skein of The Plucky Knitter Scholar (modeled in Lonesome Highway for the beanie) or The Plucky Knitter Primo Aran (modeled in Two Drifters for the slouch), or [160-180] m/ [180-200]?yds or any other worsted or aran yarn to get gauges.
- Circular needle or DPNs to get the twisted rib gauge (suggested size: 4mm/US#6).
- Circular needle or DPNs 2 sizes bigger, to get the honeycomb stitch gauge (suggested size: 5mm/US#8).
- Stitch markers.
